"I recently had the pleasure of tasting a few cuts of meat while visiting Kansas.
When I say this is the best beef I've ever had, I say it without exaggeration. I haven't tasted meat like this since I was a child. The ground beef was delicious as hamburgers, the roast was tender and flavorful, but the ribeye was by far the best cut of meat I've ever eaten. Better than the $75 filet in Vegas the same week! Beautiful marbling, great flavor and it was so tender, it fell apart.
An added treat was seeing the pastures where the cattle graze and learning about the prairie ecology from Melissa. The positive effect on the cattle is obvious. She and her husband Ross are true stewards of the land and of the animals in their care.
If you are local, I highly recommend Wahl Beef; the quality is unmatched."
